Wow, how is this insane Mars in Gemini treating you all? Mars, the planet of War, moved into the extremely busy Air sign of Gemini on Sunday August 21st 2022 – and will stay in Gemini till March 24th of 2023. Yeah, we are in for it, folks!
Mars is how we fight and activate – and in Gemini words become weapons, communication is fast, and so is everything out on the roads, too. Please watch your fingers when chopping vegetables and handling anything sharp, as Gemini rules arms and hands, one might easily poke themselves with this accelerating Mars energy. In the meantime, let's get ready for the upcoming Virgo New Moon, happening this Saturday!

Virgo is an Earth sign, and she rules our analytical thinking, our everyday routines, harvest, and digestion in our bodies. She helps us get organized by eliminating what isn’t necessary, separating the wheat from the chaff, and using our logical minds to assess our day-to-day activities.
The New Moon is a time of beginnings, planning and planting seeds. The Virgo New Moon gives us the opportunity to look at our daily lives, organize our routines so that they make sense for ourselves, our bodies and minds.
Of course, this new moon is in an exact square to Mars in Gemini, bringing in some conflict and challenges for us to navigate. Too much information is coming all at once and we need to do a million things all at the same time. On the other hand, this is also a fantastic time for using mental energy, writing, planning and moving pieces forward.
Mercury at 1°18 Libra, the ruler of the Virgo Moon, is in a Grand Trine with Mars and Pluto at 26°31 Capricorn. This trine can help us change our structures for the better and remove what no longer serves us. A lot of thinking, planning and ideas also relate to other people during the new moon. All the Gemini and Libra Air energy is signifying the importance of relationships, and finding peace, harmony and equality within them, while doing our own thing, being true to our needs, and finding balance within all of it.
Mercury is also finalizing an opposition to Neptune in Pisces, so there can be still some confusion or fogginess about the next steps and our communication, but at the same time there is the option to transcend one’s thinking and imagine how we want our next cycle to be, especially within our relationships.
Mercury will be stationing retrograde on September 10th 2022, and it is already in a shadow retrograde, so ideally we are now working with what we have committed ourselves to and finalizing the plans we have already started, rather than beginning a ton of new ones. The Mercury retrograde ends October 2nd, and its shadow on October 17th 2022. Use the Mercury Retrograde time for Re-doing, Re-assessing, and Re-planning to make everything work better.
The main piece during this Virgo New Moon time is to make a plan, considering your own health and daily life, notice how many hours there are in the day, and prioritize all the to-dos. This is also a great time to look at your dietary intake and exercise regime and make some changes, if they are needed.
