Aquarius, the sign of the Water bearer, offers the opportunity for innovative thinking and revolutionary ideas. What can we each offer to our communities and the communities around the World? If each person gave an Action, Offering or Commitment to helping the world-at-large, imagine the Revolution of possibilities it would birth.
The New Moon on Friday is in a square to the joint ruler of Aquarius: Uranus, the planet of the Unexpected, Surprises and Uniqueness. The need to break free from the status quo is palatable and the urge to change the storyline is just the recipe we need to shake ourselves up from slumber, and make needed changes in our lives.
The North Node in Aries is in sextile to the New Moon which means the karmic doors are open for us, lighting the fire for Action, and Assertiveness. Yes, Aquarius is a Fixed Air sign, so we might not actually make changes right away, but the planning will begin…
Saturn, the other ruler of the Aquarius Moon, is in Pisces, making a helpful sextile to Jupiter in Taurus. The foundations we are creating (or working extra hard to make) for our Spiritual Wellness have potential for growth and expansion. Take some time to meditate, go to that yoga class, get that massage, and take that walk in Nature – all of these will help you find your way, while minds are endlessly trying to figure out the next steps forward.

If we don’t feel impelled to Act on our thoughts, ambitions and dreams on the New Moon, this next transit will surely get us going! Mars, the planet of Action, Assertion and Will Power, also known as Ares, The God of War, will be meeting Pluto, The Lord of the Underworld, at 0 degrees Aquarius. This is a Rebirth for our Actions, giving us Power, ability to Transform, Intensity, and the Opportunity to leave behind what no longer serves us. Yes, of course, the tyrants in the World will also ride this wave, and therefore it is crucial for us to be thinking, “What can I do to help the World or my Community?".
