Gemini New Moon & Big Planetary Shifts

Hello Astrology Friends,
We certainly have picked interesting times to be alive in. So many energies, all happening simultaneously, for the whole planet! I feel a recap is necessary to understand where we currently are, in these cycles of astrology. As it is said “As Above So Below”, rings as true as ever.
Last November 2024, Pluto moved to stay in Aquarius for the next two decades, bringing upon us new beginnings for the future, infused with much technology and AI. Pluto started digging up the rotten structures of our societies, unearthing the bad, ugly and evil, so we can acknowledge what is going on behind the scenes. Only by shining the light to problems at hand, can we see what no longer serves us, and begin to start the long arduous process of creating new and better structures for the future. Pluto in Aquarius is about the rise of The People, the death and rebirth of social organizations and communities. Pluto is here to change the status quo and destroy the old outdated systems – change is the only constant we have.
March 31st, 2025, Neptune, another ‘outer planet’, that rules over societies-at-large, trends, and the Zeitgeist of the moment, moved into Aries, where it hasn’t been since 1861. Neptune, aka Poseidon, “God of the Seas”, heightens our imaginations and connection to the fantasy worlds. Neptune offers the ability to transcend and experience divine love, but also may cause confusion, illusion, and dissolvement in our lives.
In Aries, the cardinal fire, and very first sign of the Zodiac, Neptune can set ungroundedness in our sense of selves, it may gaslight us to imagine and believe things that aren’t real, but it can also help us connect more courageously to the spiritual around us.
Another heavy hitter is Saturn entering Aries today, Saturday May 24th, 2025! It will visit Aries for a few months, till September 1st, 2025, and then Saturn returns to Pisces until February 15th, 2026, when it comes back to Aries for another few years. It takes Saturn approximately 29 years to travel the Zodiac and was last in Aries 1996-1999. Can you member what was going on for you back then, in your career, your responsibilities and your maturity?
Saturn entering Aries means wherever you have Aries in your chart, you will be putting much more time and work into that area, as Saturn tests the structures you have built. Saturn is “The Teacher” and demands each of us to step up and take responsibility for who we are and what we are doing. In Aries, this is also about ourselves, how we as individuals take responsibility and action, and what we need to develop in ourselves as leaders, teachers and pioneers in this time of our lives.
Another curve ball is the close proximity of Neptune with Saturn in Aries. Neptune creating confusion of what to do, and Saturn demanding responsibilities and structures. These conjunctions happen every 40+ years and are pivotal points in history when countries change boundaries, belief systems become more fanatical, and restrictions may be set on certain groups of people.
There are many possible manifestations, of any given transit for each of us, depending on your own natal chart placements, important points, and planets you have in your chart. It is useful to look and see where Aries sits in your own astrological natal chart to get a sense of where and how these energies will play out for you.
Gemini New Moon, May 26th, 8:03 PM, PST, San Francisco, CA, USA

Monday, May 26th, 2025, we are blessed with a beautiful New Moon in Gemini, offering us opportunities to begin a new story of connection and choices in our lives. The Gemini Moon, conjunct Mercury, its ruler, makes a helpful sextile to the Saturn-Neptune-Ceres conjunction, catapulting us to immediately planting seeds of lasting effect, intertwined with those Saturnian ambitions, Neptunian wishes, and the nurturing of ourselves passionately and courageously with Ceres in Aries. The New Moon also has a trine to Pluto, urging us to leave behind the old un-useful stories, and braving the creation of a new future ahead.
Gemini is about connection, cross-pollination and getting information. What do you want to communicate and share? This is a great time to notice our tendencies, what we do each day, and put our minds on them, and contemplate: is this the message I want to be delivering? We have an opportunity here to rewire our thinking and expression and I encourage us all to take a moment to reflect on our styles of communication and correspondences.
Coming up, June 10th, 2025, Jupiter will be moving from Gemini into its excelled position in Cancer and we can expect all home, family, ancestry matters to come to the forefront of our lives. And last, but not least July 7th,2025, Uranus will enter Gemini, and immediately bring extra electric awakenings for communication, transports, and aviation worldwide, if not galaxy wide.
It might not be clear where we all are heading yet, but we are already on our way, so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the ride. We can feel the intensity building, as all these planets are moving into new signs, and making aspects to one another, beckoning in new beginnings, whether we are ready or not. If not sure which way to go, just wait, for the next bit of clarity will be coming through the ethers soon enough.
Wishing you all a supportive Gemini New Moon time ahead, while we brave stepping into these extraordinarily paradigm shifting times.
XOXO
