We are having our second Full Moon in Aquarius this Sunday! The prior Aqua Full Moon was a month ago, on July 23rd, and it happened at 1°26 Aquarius while this next one on August 22nd 2021 will happen on the last degree of Aquarius 29°37. The last degree of each zodiac sign brings out the best and worst of its sign, and in this case, we get a concentration of quirky, unique, and humanitarian Aquarius themes to look at, while balancing our personal Leo Sun journeys with our communities and friendships.

The Moon will be conjunct the positive, expansive and sometimes righteous and over-the-top planet Jupiter. Mostly optimism will fill our inner selves, perhaps some joyous times interacting with friends and communities, especially leading up to the culmination, with a slight possibility for over-doing things.
Aquarius rules the future, groups, friends and all things unexpected. The upcoming Full Moon time will give us understanding where we are headed and where our place is within the context of self-versus-others in our respective communities. These last 29’ish days we have been living the hot Sun-in-Leo season of literally fires burning everywhere, as well as our internal fire season igniting our confidence and courage to do what feels best in alignment for ourselves, our creative endeavors and our children. Leo rules Courage, Drama, Children & Creativity.
Uranus at 14°47 Taurus, the ruler of the Aquarius Full Moon, is in a harmonious trine to Mars in Virgo during the upcoming full moon, gifting us the ability to act on the changes we feel necessary. This aspect offers us insight on how we want to move forward. Mars in Virgo actions are infused with meticulous planning of intricate details to be in honor of what we, at this moment, believe our values to be. Uranus just stationed retrograde (Thursday 8/19/21) at 14 degrees emphasizing its expression in Taurus which is all about changing values, sudden surprises, and shocking shake-ups to what we believed was steady and consistent. Uranus started transiting in Taurus already in May of 2018 for a bit, and then after a brief visit to Aries, returned to stay in Taurus, in March, 2019, so we have all learned to understand this constant shifting of the ground beneath us. The retrograde just brings emphasis to it. If you have personal planets or important degrees at 14 Taurus, or any of the fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) this retrograde will speak to you louder than perhaps to others. My progressed Chiron is right at 14 Taurus, and let me tell you, what a week of continuous shock, upsets and surprises has been shaking my life. April 2022 Uranus will be back to this same degree, so on a personal level I’ll be focusing on finding the healing through my Chiron’s signification... Luckily, there is also a beautiful Grand Air Trine happening on the Full Moon with Venus in Libra, Saturn in Aquarius and the North Node in Gemini. Take this time to use the enormous AIR energy of thoughts, ideas and planning to think about your future, your relationships and the equality within them, as well as the structures you want to create in your community to bridge these things together.
The Sun will enter Virgo later on this Sunday, August 22nd, and our focus will be directed to finding efficient functioning in our lives. Virgo season is the perfect time to look at your health and wellbeing, as well as weave through what you find truly to be necessary and what is outdated and needs to be shifted out.
