Hello Astrology Friends,

This year surely started off with a bang! Change is in the air, and much will need to end, for new beginnings to emerge.

Have you all noticed the crucial importance of strengthening communities and creating community plans to be ready for upcoming changes? These are the topics that Pluto in Aquarius will continue to bring to the forefront in all our lives if they haven’t already. Especially here in the United States, with the change in Washington, people are beginning to band together and create safety networks to help each other out. There is no better time, than right now, to get involved in your community, volunteer to help create and uphold systems, have plans, organize phone trees etc. to help one another, and get prepared for times when faced with distress.

And, as the Universe might’ve planned, we have an Aquarius New Moon blessing us tomorrow! Thus, this is the seed planting time for helping our communities, planning and banding together with like-minded friends and groups, and envisioning what we want our future to be.

Aquarius New Moon, January 29th, 2025m 4:35 a.m., PST, San Francisco, CA, USA

The New Moon in Aquarius makes a hopeful trine aspect to Jupiter in Gemini, thus expanding our awareness to new possibilities and new growth potentials, that we can weave into our future. Jupiter has been retrograding since October 9th, 2024, and will station direct on February 4th, 2025, re-igniting opportunities for moving ahead.

Mercury has just entered Aquarius, and is in conjunction with Pluto, so communication and thoughts are filled with intensity and fear. But, becoming active, even with just planning stages, is empowerment – and that takes the sails away from Pluto, “The God of the Underworld”. Through creative discontent we have the opportunity to change the status quo and make changes.

The North Node, that just moved into Pisces, on January 11th, 2025, is now in conjunction with Neptune and there is a collective need to tap into our dreams, wishes and hopes for humanity, and get moving on making things happen.

Venus is also in the mix, in conjunction with the North Node and Neptune, so the pull to get together with others, socialize, and dream big, is running strong through the ethos.

The North Node is an eclipse point, that moves backwards in the sky, pushing us towards what is needed and necessary, as well as unfolding the karmic stories in our lives. Pisces North Node awakens empathy and compassion to be the driving forces – as they should always be – but now more than ever.

The South Node in Virgo is helping us stay grounded, pull on the resources that we already have, and get the details organized so that we can manifest our big dreams for the collective.

This Aquarius New Moon beckons us all to look around, at the whole planet, our brothers and sisters in Palestine, to our neighbors from Latin America, our people in Ukraine, Sudan, Burkina-Faso, Myanmar. We are all family, and we all have the right for freedom, safety, food and water.

So, the question is, what can you do? What skills do you have to bring to the table? Take this time to think of your resources, dreams, community, and social organizations, and start planning, for the future of all humanity.

Sending collaborative New Moon blessings to you all!
