Cancer Full Moon & The Age of Aquarius

Hello Astrology Friends,

We have made it through another cycle of Time, per our Gregorian calendar, and begun the New Year of 2023! We are also entering a huge change in era, with Pluto - the Planet of Transformation - beginning its move into Aquarius this year.

Pluto has been in Capricorn since the end of November 2008, and March 23rd, 2023, Pluto will dip its toes into the Water Bearing sign that rules the Future, Technology, Friendships, Community and Social Organizations. Pluto will keep dancing between Capricorn and Aquarius till November of 2024 when it then will stay in Aquarius for the next 20 years!

Two decades is a long time, and society changes continuously, but what can we expect? Pluto brings intensity to where it lands, and then destructs and rebirths whatever elements it touches. There can be feelings of loss and sadness, related to what is gone, but sometimes, only by a door closing can another door be opened.

In my humble astrological opinion, we are entering a time where technology will continue to be more prominent and powerful - for better and worse. Communities, organizations and “We the People” will be able to take more charge and in Aquarian “out of the box” ways change how things are done for the Collective. Society will start thinking more futuristically, and hopefully more organizations will be focusing on how to care for the future of humanity, animals, and Planet Earth, in coming up with greener ways of doing business, pleasure, and life in general.

The top down, old Capricornian authoritarian ways of leadership, are beginning the final fall in these next few years of Pluto’s transition. Let’s embrace this new Aquarian era and begin the transition to empowering the Rebels with a Cause, Unique Ideas for making the Future brighter and bringing the Power to the People!

Friday December 6th, 2023 Full Moon, 16°21 Cancer, at 3:07 p.m., San Francisco, CA

Here, the Full Moon is in conjunction with Pallas Athena, illuminating emotional patterns and dynamics we have at Home, with our Mothers and our Ancestors. The Sun in Capricorn, is asking about our Foundations, Plans and Career Goals, and the Sun conjunction to Mercury Retrograde is having us Re-visit, Re-consider, Re-view all the above. Though the Sun and Moon, both in “activating” Cardinal signs, are asking us to make moves, Mercury wants us to Re-consider before committing to next steps ahead.

The Full Moon is in a sextile to Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, so Surprises and Shifts in our Values, as well as Finances, are very likely during this Lunation.

There is also a trine from the Full Moon to Vesta in Pisces. Vesta is where we keep the Fire Burning and have our Focus, and Pisces is our Intuition, Dreams, Compassion and where we perhaps want to Escape. The Full Moon trine to Neptune also enables us to acknowledge our Higher Consciousness and feel the ebbs and flows of our True Inner Selves.

This is a great time for connecting with one’s Emotional Self, Spirituality, Creativity, and perhaps Basking in the Beauty, or even within a Body of Water. Wishing you all a Healing Full Moon, of letting go and releasing what no longer serves you, and for finding voice for your inner selves to be heard.

XOXO
