Pisces Full Moon with Partial Eclipse

Hello Astro Friends,

I’m finally returning to my Moon posts after a hiatus of wild busyness. As the Equinox is coming closer, I’m realizing my own cycle shifting from extravagant outward input, to needing to bring the energy towards myself.  The magic of the Cosmos keeps calling out to be delineated and I so appreciate how it helps guide our everyday lives with deeper meanings… so I’m back! :)

We are in the last week of Virgo season, and have a powerful full Moon in Pisces tomorrow, sprinkled with strong Eclipse Magic. The Virgo Sun shines a light on us, our day-to-day activities, health, and systems we have in place. The question is: are we in alignment or do we need to pivot or shift things to be more efficient, organized and caring for ourselves. This is a great time to notice what is working and what isn’t, so we can take what we want with us into the next cycle and leave behind what doesn’t serve us.

Tuesday September 17th, 2024, Pisces Full Moon

The partial eclipse means that the Moon is only a little bit eclipsed visibly, but the energies are still on full blast! This upcoming Pisces Full Moon gives a little taste for what is in store when the nodes will be switching from Aries and Libra to Pisces and Virgo in January, 2025. The Pisces-Virgo axis is all about the tangible and useful existence wrapped together with surrender and dreams. What are your dreams? This is a great time to question reality and imagine all the various possibilities.

The Pisces Moon touches deeply our subconscious selves, taps into our dreams and imagination, and perhaps even escapes reality for the day. The Full Moon is waning from a square to its ruler, Jupiter in Gemini, and everything might feel overwhelming, like having too much information, ideas, conversations, and excitement that have been coloring the days prior.

Shortly after the exact opposition to the Sun, the Moon will conjunct Neptune in Pisces, offering us the perfect escape, or perhaps just an earlier bedtime. Energy levels can be much lower than usually on this upcoming full moon night (in the North and South American time zones).

If you do decide to stay up, there is the opportunity to tap into some real magic, with the Neptune-Moon conjunction in Pisces sextiling Pluto in Capricorn, and sextiling Uranus in Taurus. Uranus awakens us up to break free and to become rebels, while Pluto, in Capricorn for the last two months of our lifetime, uncovers the last old secrets, so we can stop running away from them, and transforms them to something more useful.

To best use this energy, stay off the screens, alcohol, and drugs, and sit with yourself. Take a walk in nature, ideally by a body of water, and meditate, if you can. Dare to listen to your subconscious self! This Pisces Full Moon is all about tapping into our feelings and emotions, our old hidden stories, and the ability to transform our storyline to be more in align with what we each really want, for ourselves, and for the World as a whole.

Sending you all Full Moon blessings,

XOXO
