What is Your Dream?

Updated: Feb 4, 2023

Hello Astro Friends,

Things are finally beginning to move forward again! Friday the 13th, 2023, Mars stationed direct, at 8 degrees Gemini, and we have been able to stop retracing our steps, and we are able to start creating new pathways ahead.

On Thursday January 19th, 2023, Mercury will also station direct, at 8 degrees Capricorn, and communication, thoughts and ideas will also start flowing toward new horizons. To pack an extra punch the Sun will conjunct Pluto on the 19th, at 28 degrees Capricorn, having us all dive deep into our psyches, examine the hidden secrets and bring them right up onto the table. This can be a time of power plays and intensity, but also a necessity to understanding what structures and foundations are to be left behind, so better ones can be created. The astrological lineup this week is all here to help us get ready for the next new moon cycle, happening two days later, at 1.33 Aquarius, as well as the upcoming twenty-year Pluto in Aquarius cycle, beginning in March 2023!

Aquarius, the Water Bearer, is an air sign, which rules societies-at-large, communities, organizations, friendships, technology, the future, unique ideas, revolutionary thoughts and actions.

The New Moon is planting seeds, whether you count the 28’ish day lunar cycle, the culmination of the Aquarius Full Moon on August 1st, 2023, or the two-year and three-month Moon Family Cycle at this 2-degree Aquarius.

This specific Moon Family Cycle plants seeds now and will show their first quarter phase nine months from now, and the full moon phase one year and six months from now. It is interesting to think how far reaching any new moon truly is, and how important wishes, wants and manifestations are, when we put some thoughts and actions toward them. A Big thank you to Dietrich Pessin, Boston-based Astrologer, who is the Author of Lunar Shadows III: The Predictive Power of Moon Phases & Eclipses, and has brought the importance of Lunar Families to the larger astrological community.

If you have a personal planet or angle around 2 degrees Aquarius, take special note on what you hope to bring forth in this new time cycle ahead. Big changes will continue to happen right here as Pluto too will dance close to this degree for the next few years, bringing in endings and transformation, so new beginnings can eventually blossom.

There is some gracious help for the New Moon from a sextile to the Jupiter-Juno conjunction at 4 degrees Aries. Juno is how we relate to others and placed in Aries we tend to become direct, fast-paced, and even passionate. Jupiter brings optimism and joyousness – when not overblowing things extravagantly! Jupiter in Aries offers us belief in ourselves, expansion of new ideas, and forward movement – of course also some impatience. All this fast-paced innovation can help us with our Aquarian seed planting, so write down your ideas, get creative, think outside the box, dare to imagine the future you wish to see and begin your path towards actualizing it. This is life and anything is possible!

The Aquarius New Moon also brings energy to the Air Trine of Chariklo in Aquarius, Mars in Gemini and Ceres in Libra. Chariklo can offer us unusual Spiritual Healing in these times, Mars empowering forward movement, and Ceres nurturing, by integrating balance in our relationships. All of the above, in air signs, reinforce the importance of letting thoughts flow, collecting information, planning steps ahead with fairness and just actions, and brainstorming unique revolutionary ideas to bring forth the Spiritual Healing! Dare to dream, like Reverend Martin Luther King Junior, and ask yourself: What is your dream?

Sending you all creative wishes for the New Moon time ahead.

XOXO
